This guideline is meant to help countries to more effectively and efficiently plan, develop and monitor programmes and services that promote gender equality and human rights and hence are more acceptable and appropriate for women living with HIV, taking into account the national and local epidemiological context. It discusses implementation issues that health interventions and service delivery must address to achieve gender equality and support human rights.

This is a short video (about 1.5 minutes) about getting tested for HIV.  It encourages the viewer to stop caring about what others think, and get tested so that they know the truth about their health status and can take action.

This is a reference guide for family planning counseling of individuals, couples, and special groups by train VCT counselors.  It lists various types of contraception, and then divides the audience by men, d women and couples and for each offers guidance depending on whether the individual being counseled is HIV positive or HIV negative. 

The Communication for Healthy Living initiative was implemented on a national scale as well as in underserved communities, using a full spectrum of communication approaches from mass media and publicity events, to community mobilization and empowerment, to client-provider counseling support.

Healthy Timing and Spacing of Pregnancies (HTSP) is an approach to helping couples time their pregnancies to occur during a mother’s healthiest years (ages 18-34) and space pregnancies by 3 to 5 years, improving both maternal and child health.
